THINGS ASH WON'T DRAW:
-PORN. I will kindly direct you to other more capable people. Now if you want a character about to get some but then gets cockblocked by a raptor, I might be able to. MAYBE.
-More than 3 human characters per a picture. I draw on normal computer paper, not a lot of room!
-SUPER COMPLICATED BACKGROUNDS. Ex: "I want x and x chilling somewhere playing vidya games" well okay :U "I want x and x chilling in a coffee shop while watching kids play outside the window across the street and also the waiter is bringing their order, bemused at the children as well" WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO ME....

THINGS ASH WILL DRAW:

-CROSSOVERS i freaking love crossovers. Though I guess RP is crossover central so \e_e/

IT'S LIKE 5AM AND I'VE BEEN WATCHING POKEMON ALL NIGHT. So here have some random battles. Mix of dub and japanese audio! Most are either oldies or recent battles because youtube deletes everything 8'(

Also it is very hard to find battles that aren't set to music.

CHARIZARD VS MAGMAR - OLD SCHOOL RESPECT 'man. When watching this back then I was like "did that gym leader really try to kill charizard by throwing him in the volcano." Yes, yes he did.

Heracross vs Scizor - Ash battles a computer nerd and gets him to finally stop looking at his computer screen \o/ "I learned to battle using my gut, you don't learn that online!"

USE THE THUNDER AS ARMOR - I don't care how deus ex machina this is IT'S SO DUMB IT'S AMAZING

Ash vs Bertha/Hippo vs TurtleThing - I super prefer the Jap. version of this but the dub is unintentionally hilarious with how SERIOUS Ash looks and how he's yelling "I'M DOING IT 8U I'M AN OBSERVER!!" (this is new!dub ash btw)

Nando vs Zoey - A contest battle! There is a lot of voice-over in this one but it WORKS because as Dawn says, this is how a Contest Battle (not a trainer battle) is supposed to be like. It is SO PRETTY.

Staraptor vs Honchkrow - in which birds slap and kick each other in the face and have teeth every now and then

RAPE BEEEEEEAR I mean Paul vs Ash first full battle (and part 2). Ash's pokemon get their asses kicked by a giant fire duck and a very angry bear.

Kricketune vs Heracross (Nando and Ash) - I REALLY LOVE HERACROSS just a really awesome if quick bug battle.

DEATH SCORPION - Pretty much all of Paul's pokemon are trained to destroy everything. And Ash proves that fire DOES solve most problems.

THERE WAS A SPECIAL TODAY focusing on Brock and Dawn after they split up with Ash, and we got a quick little shot of Brock's room, and a couple photos on his billboard.

My monthly spazzing of Pokemon aside, QUESTIONS MEME if anyone has 'em. For Ash, Badger, and Impmon. Who I will totally play more this weekend, gosh.

I'm already on semi-hiatus as is, BUT gonna be MIA tomorrow til late Sunday/Monday due to housesitting. May pop in if I get some wifi going on! Will delete this post when I get back o/

SO I have some strange sick-bug that I'm hoping won't get worse, and I'm also trying to buckle down and finish a few personal projects/get started on Christmas stuff. So using the pressure free December to call for a semi-hiatus o7 also I'll probably be crashing every day before midnight what is this madness.

I'll still probably be around weekends for PLOT!11 and will try to tag posts that strike my fancy/with teammates/etc. If there's a particular thread or post anyone wants me in, just harass me on IRC. Likewise, if there are any PRE-Old!Sabra threads folks want to pick up, let me know here or shoot me an email o/ Ash loev chipping away at old threads.

~We are staying at the Renaissance Waverly! It's reserved from Thursday through Sunday with a checkout around 12 (though they'll store your stuff for you if you're still adventuring around). If folks could chip in about 25 bucks for the stay, that would be awesome, but not a requirement.

So August/September is sort of busy for me and being a dork, I have to plan RP around it.

THINGS HAPPENING*:
~AWA (Sept 17-19th)
~Dog Sitting Job 1 (Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 2-6th)
~LOSER GAME Sept. 8th
~Dog Sitting Job 2 (Sept. 9-12th. haha)
~Any extra overtime at work I can grab before the 17th

*Jobs may be canceled at any time, but I need that money so I'm hoping they won't be :|a

I am super trying to scramble around before AWA and may disappear for random days due to drawing or fangirling pokemon DRAWING MORE!1, especially on Saturdays. September will be super hectic, though I'll have wifi at at least one of the houses.

BASICALLY if you want to do something with mine (Ash, Kharg, Apollo), please just give me a big heads up (esp. if you want to do something before September) and I will try to be around. I will still be making the extra effort to always be playing with their teams at least, as well as jumping open posts when I've got a spare moment and focus. So not a hiatus, just SUDDEN SCARCITY warning...thing.

By golly that was unproductive.

SO WHILE I WAS ON HIATUS I thought about a lot of things including Ash's status as a midboss because I am a nerd. Like "Man am I tainting the meaning of Ash Ketchum, hero and role model of the Pokemon world???"

And the answer is yes but I don't care.

BUT it is justifiable given his personality and the team he's on. At the moment he and Pikachu are basically Team Rocket only he doesn't have a clear goal other than "Get stronger, obey the Judges" and the fact that he's surprisingly competent when he wants to be.
